Not really; living in an "all electric" house, I have kept track of my electric utility bills for the last 13 years. The cost of my Pacific Power Electricity has increased at an average rate of 2.9% per year, which I find quite reasonable.

It's jumped so much from last year. I retired recently after nearly 45 years at company but might have to work part time just to make ends meet. So unfair to the elderly, and poor who have a hard time deciding what's most important for survival. Food, shelter, medications or heat. Corporate greed.

ReplyMy C.N.G. bill increased 105% over last December. Yikes !
ReplyYes it's costing quite a bit more to heat our home this year. PP&L obviously raised their rates.
