I am currently stuck with carpet and my allergies do not like it. I also like the layering effect of area rugs- make the one next to the bed be fluffy and soft

They're much easier to clean and you can always change out the rugs.

Carpeting can add actual warmth to a space, absorb sound and many prefer the feel of carpet for a bedroom over hard flooring.

Neck pillow, foot hammock, lumbar pillow -- with all these devices, I can sleep fitfully . .
