How we treat our vets is borderline criminal. The support that is in place is anemic. I would help out a vet to the end of my ability for the sacrifices they've made for us.

They have given so much and places their lives on the line many times. The least we can do is repay them for what they have done. I own a business in auto repair and have helped those in need before and I know I am blessed and have such a great feeling when I can help those who need it and deserve.

ReplyMy 93 year old neighbor is a vet. I take him to breakfast every Saturday. Last winter I sat with him to create a book of his memories. I am on his list as an emergency contact.
ReplyNot for vets so much, but serving soldiers during the Gulf Wars, Sent care packages to folks who were sacrificing so much.
