because history books need to really look at the true actions of the explorers towards the people ( Natives) already there and correct how they were treated and the near geneocide of them.

Don’t change our Country’s history to satisfy a few. What we did to the Indian Nation was wrong but to rewrite our history will not make it right
ReplyBecause Columbus day celebrates Italian heritage and not Columbus. To change the name to indigenous people's day, is pushing another culture aside because of a lack of understanding
