The evidence is overwhelming that Fracking taints ground water - not to mention how much fresh water the hydraulic fracking process uses!

I know people who worked with a state agency that conducted environmental impact studies which confirmed the contamination.

Fracking is so far beyond sane that explaining why it's ruinously bad should be unnecessary

oil companies will put their profits above nearby residents health. Water is too precious to waste on non renewable energy.

Fracking leaves TOXIC chemicals in its wake thereby contaminating the ground water.

I don't want gas coming out when I turn my water tap on!! It make the water no good.

Geological surveys and toxicology tests have proven, with very little doubt, that fracture drilling DOES cause contamination to water supplies/tables. Plus the chemicals used remain in the surrounding soil for decades!

fracking is a political tool to lower property values or force owners to move out at a huge loss in their property's value.

Fracking is killing the water tables

We've got to start putting emphasis into renewable energy.

Without fresh water we all die, either that or go cannibal on the oil execs which doesn't sound too tasty.

Because it is destructive and polluting.

Because any one with any common sense will realise that Fracking is dangerous to our health

because this is the side with no ulterior motive

fracking often does pollute ground water and leaves toxic residues both above and below ground

b/c our water is precious! Far more so than LNG!!

because it interferes with the planet. It uses far too much water, which is then unusable, for anything!

But I have seen news reports from where people live and it pollutes the water and land. And the scientist the gov and corporate companies who frack get them to lie when it is obvious it is dangerous.

I want to be able to continue to have water at a reasonable price and unpolluted, I don't want to live under constant earthquakes or have all our farmland poisoned. Bit of a no-brainer once you look.

Fracking is not efficient of useful

Because all the water north of me is toxic from fracking so my city water will be gone.

I see a lot of people shilling for the industry in here - making pseudo-scientific claims that 'fracking is safe' and that there is "no risk to water tables". When you see these people, you should know that they are stakeholders (or worse) shareholders, whose job it is to create a fake consensus on Fracking.

Our planet has all the power we need ready to be harnessed by humans, without digging up the planet and poisoning the land!
