I've never leased. Paid all m y cars off and then after each one was paid off I drove for years without any car payment.

I've owned a car or truck or both since I was 20 years old and now almost 70 yr. Living in rural areas requires having a dependable vehicle.

I prefer any equity after a car is paid off to belong to me.

I never saw the upside of leasing, I want to own and have title when I pay all that money into something

I've always seen leasing as something for businesses, or for people who want a new car every year or two. We bought our minivan new in '05 and plan to drive it into the ground.

I always purchase low priced used vehicles and hold onto them as long as I can. It saves me a ton of money that way.
