Public safety is the paramount reason, and an opportunity for someone to create an E-bike Speed Racing venue.

A lot of people use e-bikes because they cannot ride a regular bike anymore. I know someone who does not brake the rules/law and has been pulled over for just riding his electric bike. He has injuries and cannot ride a regular bike as much. The strict rules are making him less active.

Just because a Ferrari can go 100 MPH it doesn’t mean everyone driving a Ferrari will be going 100 MPH. If a handful of people drive 100 MPH will you ban everyone from driving?

Yes, and they are being ridden by young people. They should be cited by the Police for not being street legal vehicles.

I just realized last month that the Bird ebikes where not littering the sidewalks.

Too many bike riders currently riding on a sidewalk, then they change to a street, then a bike path. BTW...how fast will these ebikes go. Also, many riders aren't cautious....currently. Who's going to enforce an age minimum? THIS is already a problem! Hope accidents don't happen.

These are a nuisance and left all over town. That and the traffic problems caused by less car lanes.

I voted this way because I still have 50.00 on the blue bird bike app that I can't get back at all. I had NO idea that when the program ended you wouldn't get your money back

The pilot program failed. Tourists can rent bikes from shops in town. This is a waste of time and money.
