They don't have to be GREAT looking but I do need to be at least a little attracted to them in the 1st place.

I mean, everybody has a type. THAT person popped out at them. There should be no problem accepting that. Beauty fleets, but you have to be attracted with them in the first place, dont' you? If you aren't attracted to them, then you can't notice them in the first place.

I feel that person who cares enough about their inside person should at least strive a bit for their outside as they are both important in the long run even into old age.

Many "good looking" people are jerks. Time waits for NOONE! Everyone's appearance changes. It's SO MUCH MORE IMPORTANAT to be with someone who you respect and have enough in common with that you can grow together with time.

Looks can be altered through age, surgery makeup and other stuff. Your views and opinions change as information is gathered and lost. Your personality stays pretty much the same no matter what your age.

It does not matter how they look like on the out side the only thing that matters is what on the inside that really matters the most.

I think we all know that what is inside a person is the most important. It doesn't hurt to be good-looking, but some of the biggest jerks are handsome or beautiful. Often they depend on their looks to get them by.

I send my 2 grandchildren a card every year. Not only Valentine's Day but all the holidays. Always include a little cash in the card. Been doing it since birth. They are now going to be 18 and 15. It's a way to stay in touch with them.
