Reasonable regulations could keep at least some felons, mentally challenged and untrained from possessing guns. Universal background checks and red flag laws would help. My last two background checks took just 15 and 5 minutes to complete. Only criminals need to fear background checks.

As a start, the Republicans need to make a concession for the good of the people and give back ACA tax credits.
