The AG hasn't seen the need to get "involved" in Kansas City or St. Louis downtown crime. Maybe focus on bigger issues first?

The city could have dealt with this before it became a problem. The city administration is who the AG might want to look into....... Columbia deserves better than this Portland mentality......

I think alcohol is far worse than marijuana If people who drink alcohol can own guns than people who smoke marijuana canal guns

It’s the same logic as alcohol. You can enjoy drinks and still own guns. But you should never handle a firearm while intoxicated!

Progressives, which make up the bulk of the city council, have no idea as to how to reduce crime. They will try and "ride out" this murder of the Stephens student and go back to Ignore, Avoid, Delay with their task forces and failed social programs.

The alumni are the ones who donate large sums for things like new stadiums. They are the ones who create this college culture of downtown bars by influencing University leadership and the Alumni Associations. A bunch of UM grads work in state government. Ban them, problem solved.
They are clueless. They will never hold the parents responsible because it will go against their identity politics. Start holding the parents accountable. Or at least get these kids to families who see the as blessings and not as income. Stop protecting horrible parents. Use common sense.

If Colombia leaders and Police Department can't or won't control the troublemakers and protect the people of Colombia and visitors, then it's time that the Governor's office step in! And this isn't happening in just one isolated area of Colombia. It's well past time to look for new leadership!
ReplyThe AG needs to get involves since the city council and city manager have failed so miserably. If there was not a major public safety problem the AG wouldn't be here. How many more University students need to get shot downtown before the city leaders pull their heads out of the sand or other...
ReplyI am by far one of the biggest critics of our government. I have high standards and feel both Republican and Democrat parties aren't just bad, they are criminal. That being said, I'd like to see her take the reigns on this topic. Oddly enough, I have faith in this old girl. She is centered
