Luz only has her mom on earth, while on the boiling isle she has Eda, King, Amity, etc. The first episode said “us weirdos have to stick together” so it’d be pretty disappointing to see in the end that the ‘weirdos’ didn’t stick together. Luz also hesitates before giving in and promising Camilla that she won’t return to the boiling isle.
