We don't allow underage to do any of a number of activities, jobs, take medications, etc., without parental consent. Parents must have the ultimate authority over their own children, even some parents are idiots! Remember CDC in 12/20 said 78% of Covid deaths/hospitalizations were overweight/obese!!

Why pick and choose when they can get parents permission. It should be 18 for EVERYTHING regarding my child. If they can't vote they shouldn't be able to make a medical choice as big as this. At the age of 12 they are not mature enough how to even drive w a permit. This is just insane

99% of dissenting parents aren't knowledgeable in immunology or overwhelming research. Teens can choose to trust WORLDWIDE experts or the knowledge base of their parents bc their life is at risk.
ReplyGot to win this war, even if parents do not want too!
ReplySometimes educated kids are smarter than the parents.
ReplyAbsolutely. This is not a pro-choice/ pro-life argument. No one is offering a mind altering experience. This is a life saving injection that people all over the world are waiting for. Be thankful that you gave birth to your child in the USA and get your vax
ReplyReason I vote for it is due to children living in 2 different households are restricted due to division parents can't come to an agreement.
ReplyBecause the spread continues through school participation and families. It is chaotic in school kids constantly sick
ReplyI am a substitute teacher in DSUSD. Students are not wearing masks universally and the absentee rate is running about 30%. They are also seeing their teachers getting infected. Vaccination protects them and is not risky. Let them decide.
