The New York Yankees are still strong going into the All-Star break. Aaron Judge has 27 home runs, and he shows no signs of slowing down. The pitching will get better; just give it time. The Yankees can always trade to get better starting pitching heading into the final stretch of the season in September to back up Luis Severino, one of the best pitchers in the American League. Never count the Yankees out.

The Boston Red Sox have won the AL East two years in a row, and they should have no problem doing so again. J.D. Martinez and Mookie Betts are two of the best hitters in the American League, both in batting average and home runs, among other offensive categories. Four out of five starters for the Red Sox have nine wins or more, tied with Houston for the most in the American League. Pitching wins ball games, and the Red Sox have plenty of that. The Yankees still don't have enough in the tank to beat a potent Red Sox club.
