Following the Philadelphia Eagles' upset of the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII, the Eagles have a decision to make at quarterback. Nick Foles is the man. He led the Eagles to the promised land after Carson Wentz's injury in week 14. No one believed in Foles, even after the Eagles clinched the NFC's top seed under his leadership. He surprised everyone, out-dueled the greatest quarterback of all time in Tom Brady, and brought a championship-starved city one of the most lauded trophies in American sports. Foles should get the starting nod in 2018. Wentz's injury is a future liability.

Carson Wentz was considered an NFL MVP candidate before he went down with a knee injury in week 14. He led the Eagles to an 11-2 record before he went down, and he likely would have kept the Eagles going strong through the playoffs. Once Wentz fully recovers, Foles should graciously step aside and return to backup duty until his contract is up. There's nothing wrong with having two MVP quarterbacks on one team --Steve Young was in Joe Montana's shadow in San Francisco for years before his breakout season. Keep Wentz as the starter and Foles as the backup.
