Absolutely it is. Tennis needs dominant stars like Roger Federer and the Williams sisters to help the sport grow in popularity. Federer is 36 years old and clearly still has the technique, physique and speed to win, as evidenced by his 20th Grand Slam title at the 2018 Australian Open. If he can keep this up and win (again) on the grass of Wimbledon (his specialty), Federer just might be the greatest of all time, if he isn't already. He deserves every accolade for inspiring younger players. Federer's a likable guy who gives millions to charity.

Roger Federer winning another Grand Slam tournament is the same old headline repeated over and over again. At 36, he should retire on top before an injury ends his career or makes it very hard to come back, much like Tiger Woods. Tennis is hard on your knees, and it's only going to get more difficult for Federer to recover after each match he plays. Federer has nothing else to prove to anyone; he's obviously a great player. He has other pursuits he can tap into to have a large influence in the tennis world, such as his charities and his connections with UNICEF.
