We have witnessed what happened in Kansas with such a plan and now they are doing it to Missouri.

Income tax is necessary in a state where people care about each...it funds necessary programs, like education. Our state lags behind most states when it comes to funding education and that hurts our future. To replace income tax with sales tax on services would be more expensive for everyone.

Income tax is socially responsible (the poor pay none or little; those who make more pay more) and dependably funds necessary services. If it is eliminated, sales taxes will SKYROCKET and we will ALL pay more in the long run, including those who can least afford it.

I think there should be a mandatory age for them and the POTUS and all of Congress.
ReplyA mandatory retirement age for ALL federal employees @ 65, including the President and Vice President! Should not be allowed to run for elected office if your term will be not completed before you turn 65!!!!
