A couple on their honeymoon collided on a zip line, killing the husband and injuring his new bride. Zip lines are too dangerous and need either more safety inspections or to disappear altogether. No one should fear for their safety when on vacation. People get hurt, develop flesh-eating bacterial infections and come away from their experiences worse off than before.

Ziplining is relatively safe, as injuries and deaths rarely occur. Zip lines are catching on as a safe way to go fast and explore the outdoors in unique ways. Compared to skydiving, ziplines are much safer, cost less and require less training for customers. If someone wants a thrill ride and adrenaline rush, ziplining is the perfect way to do that.
