UPS and FedEx do tons of business across the globe that has nothing to do with Amazon. In fact, FedEx gets just 3 percent of its business from Amazon, and UPS gets 6 percent. Amazon leases 40 planes, while FedEx owns 659 of them. It would take Amazon 30 years and $30 billion to create a top-notch logistics and delivery network that would rival FedEx or UPS. That kind of venture just isn't feasible for Jeff Bezos and Amazon. The e-commerce company should stick with running the online space while leaving the delivery portion to the traditional juggernauts.

It will inevitably impact them because Amazon gets millions of transactions and by taking those away from UPS and FedEx they will be getting less deliveries.
