There are never too many emojis to have on a smartphone. The poo emoji (apologies to Sir Patrick Stewart, who is awesome even as poo) needs a replacement. These 157 emojis are great, and there is a ton of diversity, including redheads, darker skin colors and afros. The animals are cute, such as the kangaroo, swan and peacock. The hot and cold faces say it all. The superhero emjois are perfect, because everyone needs a little hero in their lives.

There are too many danged emojis. The lame movie proved it, and it doesn't matter that Captain Picard, er, Sir Patrick Stewart, brilliantly voiced a pile of poo. Why does the internet need a mosquito emoji in 2018? Was the butterfly on vacation? Hugs are better bugs (emojis, that is). Instead of expressing emotions as images, how about humans actually call someone and tell them how much they care about another person? Emojis are passe and so yesterday.
