I went through my 20s listening to that song. It was considered to be so controversial at the time. I like the beat better than the other song in the poll.
I was 13 when this song and album was released. At the time, I didn't understand many of the lyrics at 13 years of age. The entire album fascinated me, yes I had this on vinyl. I was a huge fan fur years and years. I wore a college paper on Madonna and her contribution to the empowerment of women.
Vogue was agead of its time. Madonna also wasn't afraid to embrace AND defend what we call LGBTQIA+ today. In that regard, she gave ZERO F***S! That's a TRUE ICON!
Ladies with an attitude, fellows that were in the mood. Don't just stand there let's get to it, strike a pose there's nothing to it. Vogue! "I mean come on... classic!"
