To tell you the truth there's not a lot I agree with when it comes to this President. But he said something that really stood out to me in his address to the nation. I am going to paraphrase more or less what he said. If the Afghanistan people do not fight for their country then why should we.

Why was there no question about the hostage release or the peace deal.. Looks like a missed opportunity to me.
