The leaders are just following their agenda. The infected ones are to blame. In this case one of the leaders is infected. Quarantine those with the virus asymptomatic or with all viral signs.

Data centers benefit the corporations who profit from this technology, but AI robs the country of jobs and spends massive energy resources on memes and false information. There are good uses for AI, but the technology is moving way too fast and should be slowed to balance energy needs with AI value.
