Most of them survive, The akatsuki on the other hand suffer a very harsh death

She is trained by Tsunade, the one and only Naruto had a crush on her, she actually marries Sasuke, I mean, come on people. She is a strong fighting machine, I can give so many reasons. Part of me doesn't like her because her main jutsu is water style, crying jutsu.

Kishimoto didn't give her any justice but then again he didn't give the other female characters any justice either with the exception of Tsunade
