Louisville's defense is by far the best Clemson has faced. App State was a step up in competition and the O-line struggled. I'm worried to see Clemson try to establish dominance in the trenches. But Watson can shred a secondary and spread the field at any given time which is why Clemson will win.
Reply ReplyOur offensive line wasn't impressing me against a less than average defensive line I'm App St. I'm nervous that won't cut it against the "big boys."
Reply ReplyConcerned about the O-line communicating. Hopefully they will be more consistent this game but Louisville has a decent D. I do think Clemson will be around the 150 mark.
Reply ReplyI think Louisville's front seven will challenge our offensive line. I think Clemson's tackles in particular struggles against Sheldon Rankins.

The stable of running backs we have will provide a mixture of speed, power, and fresh legs. Throw this in with the success Scott haso been having with the jet sweep due to the blocking and unselfish receivers
ReplyThere is a lot of talk about Clemson's O-line not being effective against App State but in actuality other than the bad snaps they played pretty well. Most of the issues came from the tight ends missing blocks when App was in uneven fronts. Still Gallman averaged 5.3 ypc.
ReplyWayne train... nuff said
ReplyCause its all about the Tigers!!!
ReplyAll in
ReplyNew OCs seem to run the ball more than Morris did. I think they will keep pounding away with Gallman to help Watson.
ReplyThe Wayne train baby
ReplyBecause Gallman will get the full load this week 125+ on the ground for him.
ReplyMultiple competitive running backs = fresh legs throughout the game. Couple that with an effective passing attack, and Clemson EASILY gets 150 yards rushing and possibly more.
ReplyClemson is a physical team.
ReplyOur OL will open up holes
ReplyBecause Clemson of line will get a big push
ReplyLouisville didn't cover the run very well against auburn
ReplyBetween elliot , galman and of course the threat to run in Watson 150 may be low!
ReplyWayne gallman. Nuff said.
ReplyWatson Gallmam McCloud and Scott will produce well over 100 yards
ReplyI feel like our offensive line will hold up. And I don't think that Scott/Elliott will abandon the run as quickly as Morris would.
ReplyYes. Go t go Tigers
ReplyGallman is a stud
ReplyO-Line 4 Tigers R too poised!!!!!
ReplyWayne Gallman has hit his stride and is running angry and that is dangerous
ReplyElliott has not shown all his cards yet. Wait and see, he will spread them out first and then start running counters, etc. He will also use more of the bigger backs against L'ville like Dye and Fuller.
ReplyBecause Clemson has a stable full of Running Backs and I believe that they've shaken off the rust a bit with those first two warm up games. Not to mention the offense played very vanilla. GO TIGERS!
ReplyWatson will be used more on zone reads and open up lanes for running backs
ReplyTIGERS BABY!!
ReplyWith all the running backs and the talent they have there is no reason they shouldn't be able to.
ReplyLast year Clemson averaged around 3.5 APR,Average Per Rush. This year we are at 4.2 after 2 games. And yes, I realize who we played. When we average 4.0 yards per rush tomorrow we will win. This, IMO, is the key stat for the entire. If we end the year with over a 4.0 APR...look out!!!
ReplyCause Go Tigers. #WayneTrain #TyeDye
ReplyThey will have to respect the pass therefore leaving more room to run
ReplyThe Wayne Train rolls on national TV, and the much-maligned offensive line takes the opportunity to prove it's better than lines of yesteryear. 175yds and 3 tds for the team, Gallman with 109 and 2 scores.
ReplyBecause We All In!
ReplyEasily! I think the coaches will open up the offense for this game. Watson is will rush for 80 himself. Our RBs only need to combine for 70 yards
ReplyThey have speed and vision, now is there time. All In!!!!
ReplyWayne Gallman is a beast...nuff said
ReplyOffensive line
ReplySo that they ignore the pass attack. Watson throws for 600 yards..
ReplyI think Gallman is to much of an agrees ive runner right now. He's running purpose and seems more confidant every game.
ReplyCause we're going to be in Beast Mode Thursday night, This is Clemson's year!!!
