Seems like a broken system if a team can get that many players that are not deserving.

It's all rigged anyway, so they may as well admit it and save some paper ballots.

It's needs to be voted on by the MLB managers, coaches, and writers. Fans get too carried away with the voting.

The game exists because of the fans. The All-Star game epitomizes this completely. They just need a better way to control voting and prevent ballot stuffing. I'm sure tech can solve this issue.
ReplyThe system has always been skewed to fan voting. No reason to change it now. Go Royals?
ReplyNo one gamed a broken system. Other teams fans did not come out and vote with the dedication that the Royal's (and others) fans did. These are also top tier players moving forward, I understand the resentment, but to say that most of these players are undeserving is ludicrous.
ReplyNo one would be saying anything if it was 7 Yankees players starting.
ReplyAbsolutely not, the fans are what make MLB... Removing them from the equation would remove interest and intrigue from the All-Star game
Replyfans make baseball what it is. Royals fans are supporting their team...they are the only stadium I have seen consistently full this season... and honestly they have tons of players playing consistently well. I think maybe 1-2 of these players (Gordon primarily) maybe doesn't make this case
