Will Russia come out on top and have the loyalty of the new Ukrainian government? Things to keep in mind: Russia has the Crimea region full of ethnic Russians who are thinking about declaring independence. The former president also was leaning toward Russia.

Will the U.S., European Union and other allied nations have the loyalty of the new Ukrainian government? Keep in mind that the protesters were largely pro-European Union and wanted their country to have closer ties to the EU. The U.S. and EU have been very supportive of the opposition.
