Republicans could easily say yes to extending subsidies for Americans and no to the other provisions. If Dems say “no” then it’s on them. Not much compromising is going on.

Democrats are insisting on concessions related to health care policy (specifically extending Affordable Care Act health insurance subsidies) to reopen the government. Republicans argue for a "clean" funding bill without these policy changes. CLEAN FUNDING BILL WITHOUT PORK
They are in charge. Can’t reopen when the House is on a 6 week vacation out of the last 2 months. They won’t come to work. Only a fool could not understand this

They control the Presidency, Senate and House, and are holding up a budget that would increase healthcare premiums three-fold for millions of Americans to give the rich tax write-offs. This is all Republican.
