Does anybody actually think this would stop the nightly shootings, by felons in Columbia using stolen forearms? No, I don't think so either. People who legally purchase firearms, are not the people committing crimes with firearms. Why not start holding the criminals responsible?
Reply ReplyHunter Biden purchased a firearm via background check, before promptly tossing in a dumpster near a public school. So....
Reply ReplyThis is nothing more than a political grandstand in an effort to win votes. The bill will do little to stem violence and is only for politicians to use at election time. The Democrats are taking a tragedy and using it to get their agenda passed without any proof the bill would make a difference.
Reply ReplyYes, the Dems are acting true to form, untrustworthy and immoral. The only change they make, is for the worse.
I voted for this side due to the fact that way too many individuals are allowed to purchase/possess firearms when they have no legal right; nor ability; to do so.
ReplyThat should have been done after the Sandy Hook tragedy. Also, limit the age when a person can buy a gun. No sales of assault weapons to anyone under 25 and then with a thorough background check. Stop the killing of innocent children.
ReplyFunny how quick they are to protect the lives of embryos because "life matters" yet 10 year olds get slaughtered by an 18 year old that can buy guns and it's political. Disgusting yet predictable hypocrisy among conservatives
