People shouldn't have children they can't afford. Parents should stay home with small children. Having govt in every part of our lives leads to a loss of personal freedom. Big govt is inefficient and expensive. Becoming dependent on govt is a dangerous thing and is a huge leap toward socialism.

Allows for more adults to be in the work force at a much higher and faster rate, which will raise gdp higher than the cost of pre-school.
ReplyThe cost is too much for most families. With free childcare, parents will be able to work and it will free up money for other expenses. Additionally, the early years are the most formative and important and early childhood workers should be acknowledged and compensated for their important work.
