Never had a big budget for holidays or birthdays. We have too much stuff already so we concentrate on time together and a few useful thoughtful gifts, often hand-made.

Obviously, an article regarding Christmas, will not get many views in a blue city like Columbia.
On Christmas, my kids often just ask me for meaningful advice. They are in their fifties, and they have learned enough to know, that they can always learn more. We still give each other the benefits of our skills that we have acquired over the years. These gifts are priceless, and they last forever.

Christmas commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, believed to be the Son of God. The celebration focuses on the Incarnation, or God becoming human. You don't need money to celebrate that.
Nothing is ever going back to what it once was. You will continue to fall. You only have your contentment now.

The government isn’t responsible for anyone. Each individual is response for themselves. The government can eat TRASH.

ReplyI think the community needs to step up and help the homeless. When are all of you going to realize the Government is not going to fix your/our problems. They have created the majority of the problems we face today.
