Commented "While I absolutely detest the idea of multiple Spider-Men swinging around simultaneously, I feel Miles has earned the mantle (even in a meta way) and renaming him, now, comes off as a demotion. Honestly, he should've just been left to be the one, and only Spider-Man of the Ultimate universe. (😉)"
Commented "While the symbiote suit is a great design and leads to many an excellent story point, the red and blue is absolutely THE Spider-Man costume, no question! Even if you like aesthetic, the way the symbiote causes Peter to act is certainly not ideal for Spidey. It is also now more associated with Venom."
Commented "IMO, Bonesaw is better-suited for a spinoff "movie," as his profession of pro-wrestling is both more cinematic and lends to action set-pieces that would help break up the drama there'd be otherwise (ala "The Wrestler" or "Rocky"/"Creed"). Mr. Ditkovich, I feel, would work better on a TV sitcom."
Commented "In my opinion, "The Force Awakens" was, as George approximates it, a "nostalgic" movie that, imo, for the first time since the prequels, regressed the franchise. "The Phantom Menace," (and KOTOR) pushed the needle forward, rethinking what Star Wars could be, adding many iconic elements to the lore."
Commented "Willpower is the Lantern emotion on which Batman most relies. While fear is a tool he uses greatly in his early days, soon enough the initial effect wears off, as Batman becomes a known entity, abiding by a code. However, he remains effective due to his drive and discipline, whether feared or not. "
Commented ""Begins" gets my vote as it's simply my favorite live-action Batman film! It focuses wisely on the (really well-played) title character of Bruce Wayne, himself, and it's tone/visuals nail the look and feel of a Batman story, without going the full-on gothic route. Also, its 3 villains are superb!"
Commented "At this point, I'm still excited, mainly because revisiting the fan-favorite universes involved excites me far more than just the status quo of either the MCU or DCEU. As of yet, the multiverse only seems to be effecting 2 films in the MCU and 1 in the DCEU, so I don't think it's played out, yet."
Commented "As smart as Holmes is, I think Jack is a bit above his pay grade. Firstly, he'd be hard to catch in that half the time even he doesn't know where he's going (ðŸ§). Secondly, Jack has a ship and crew that are willing to fight and kill, something Sherlock rarley has to do. Maybe "almost," though! (😉)"
Commented "Davy Jones, all the way! While I used to say Barbosa, my gained appreciation of "Dead Man's Chest" and "At World's End" really puts Davy Jones over for me. Also, I feel that Barbosa returned so many times in a heroic/helpful capacity that it really becomes hard to see him as a villain, anymore. "
Commented "Starscream, all the way! Probably, i.m.o., the most consistently great Transformer across all versions. Whether he is sympathetic and tragic (like in "Armada"), vicious and cunning (as in "Prime"), or just hilariously ambitious/cowardly (like "G1" or "Animated"); he's always extremely entertaining!"
