She's definitely hinted at the fact that she has disowned the Loki name, so somewhere along the way she had to come into contact with other Loki's to understand how horrible they are and decide to be different. In the first episode of Loki, he says something along the lines of "glorious purpose" when he sees his own death. I think this is a hint that he's going to try and defy the timeline to prove free will."
