To me, the game starts with D. Rock solid D will keep our team in most games.

To hang wt OSU and to finally beat Wisc again, we need a D that can compete and limit their offense. I think we will have a better OL this year & we have many skilled players on the O. Time defense..

Points on the board is fun, but defense wins championships. Play defense, and our offense will take care of itself!

We returned a lot more starters on offense than on defense, and at LB where we did return some guys, we weren't very good last year. D has a lot more work to do heading into the season.

Develop players. Year after year we get beat by teams we consistently out-recruit that develop players better.
ReplyI believe defense feeds on offense on Frost coached team more than the flip side. If the offense can move the ball consistently we'll have a great team next year.
ReplyDefense was decent last season offense seemed to struggle
