I'd say 1.5 or 1.75. I do like this film a good deal, but I just don't think it quite lives up to the ideas/complexity of either LEGO Movies. Superficially, I LOVE the look of it, but it's just a bit much of a departure from established Batman as it goes on and I didn't really need the extra IPs.

They already came out with a Friday the 13th prequel but the issue is you can’t capture the magic of the originals from the 80s and 90s, it would have to be done by the right person to be done correctly. But it would be a little bit easier to make a new nightmare on elm street with a good gorefactor

I dunno, there have been decent slashers in recent years (the new Halloween movies, Happy Death Day and Hell Fest at least), so I think it would be easier to make another F13th movie than Elm Street movie, especially with the lack of Englund.

Its been said before buts its a perfect movie with its characters , story, pacing theres no way a reboot could capture the heart and energy of back to the future.

reboots tend to pervert things and back to the future is one of my all time favorite movies I'd really hate for my kids to know the rebooted version of back to the future Marty mcfly is my hero

Back to the Future is a perfect movie and the sequels are also great, with a satisfying ending. There's nothing you could do with a reboot that you couldn't just do with an original time-travel story. With Roger Rabbit, it could be fun to compare the animation industry of its era to today's one.

Roger Rabbit 2 would be a Space Jam 2/Free Guy/Ready Player One situation where they would shove in a bunch of IPs and references without feeling the need to tell a story. Mickey and Bugs together was a novelty in the original whereas in the reboot it would be the entire film. Plus, no Bob Hoskins.

Roger Rabbit is a most that was made in the perfect time. If it were made today, it would almost certainly be a studio cash grab and not the heartfelt adventure/comedy it actually is (unless the Lego Movie directors made it). Disney and Warners would almost certainly not cooperate with each other.
