No, because before zoos we were mindlessly killing the animals. However, I feel like there needs to more rules and guidelines to protecting them.

Because most are not cruel and the majority only want to help the species that are endangered and by making zoos you’re also making a species less endangered

Not all species that reside in zoos are endangered though. And a lot of zoos are reported and are seen to enforce mistreatment of animals by puting them in inadequate condtions

Many zoos are in the industry of preserving and breeding endangered species where the zoo part is for the project’s funding.

The majority of zoos rescue the injured animals and when the animal is healthy the zoo will decide to have these animals stay if they don’t believe it will be able to live on its own.

Many zoos help animal species and prevents poachers from killing off many threatened species. Although, I do agree if a zoo is caught abusing its animals the zoo should be changed or closed down.

There are many zoos that are really amazing to animals and really care. There is not enough bad ones to shut all of them down

Zoos often take in endangered animals or rescue animals that have been hurt in the wild. Many zoos also donate the money they earn to keep animals safe out in the wild.

Yes there can be bad zoos and aquariums, but you can not say ALL of them are bad! The zoos and aquariums I have been to treat there animals amazingly! Positive reinforcement, not negative punishment.

It is cruel and inhumane. I can’t believe this is still a thing. People get reprimanded for dog and cat abuse, but the law has nothing about this. It is just as bad. It doesn’t make it hurt less.

Animals are like people, they want freedom. I prefer Safari over Zoo

Yes I agree, they deserve to be free, but sadly many are endangered or threatened, and if released will be killed.Or the animal can not live on its own,at my zoo there is an orangutan with heart problems

They should be where they belong and with their families. They are meant to be free and happy.

Because poor animals could be out in the wild having better things to do instead of be stuck in a cage. I know obviously people would like to see animals at a zoo but animals should be free from cages

Zoos are places that keep animals in captivity for their whole lives. I know that if I were in their position, I would want to live in freedom, not in an enclosure.

Animals don’t want to be in cages, and people are forcing them to be exposed. It is better than a petting zoo, but it is still horrible.

Animals shouldn’t be kept in cages this is not okay and it needs to stop

I have a business literally across the street from their office/dump location and still get consistently missed on recycling. I have been missed regularly on garbage as well. The city has the ability to pull their contract if this continues.

I live in Crook County. We went a whole month without recycle pick up. The service is always on FB because of inconsistent service. We went two weeks with no garbage pickup. It's like this all over the city as well as out of city limits! VERY FRUSTRATING when you're paying for a service!

LOL. In Crooked River Ranch - we don't know what 'recycling' is. The garbage company totally did away with it. So - I feel no sympathy for some of you who have 'delays'.
