Dark money is an excuse to prevent we the people from correcting mistakes the state government has made.

Representative government relies on the voice of the people being heard. Constitutional Amendments are a very important method of making that happen. No wonder the people in charge want to diminish this right of the people. It interferes with their plans for authoritarian rule.
