This dog is not big enough to pose a serious threat.

Well I had this happen to me before with Sedalia pd putting one of my puppies down. It's sad how they think its okay to shoot a poor animal that never shown any sign of mean.My prayers to the owner

The dog didn't show any signs of being aggressive or sick. The cop was obviously trigger happy.

This Cop should be fired. The poor animal wasn't a danger at all. I know a lot of cops that would agree with me.

Nope , I think the police department and mayor should be under investigations. How would he feel if his family dog was shot a stupid reason ? Oh I didn't know he was blind ? Really ok well what about a dog that's def gonna shoot it to cause it's acting weird? You need to be smarter then what you are

This officer, along with the Mayor, should be terminated. This poor dog was murdered. If he thought the dog was sick, he could have taken him for help. There was absolutely no excuse for shooting this tiny dog. The cop admits he wasn't afraid of being harmed. He got tired of chasing the poor thing,

I believe the video from the policeman's body camera is enough for a conviction.

Yeah, that's a bad shoot. No way it's okay. Fire him. Remember, the police only exist to serve and protect the law, not individual citizens. The supreme Court ruled police have no duty to protect non government officials.
