False statements and lies should not be presented as facts from either side of the political spectrum. If it takes government intervention to stop this misinformation, then that's the way it should be.

Freedom of speech is too important a right for the gov to interfere with. So called "misinformation" is just the government trying to control people who disagree with them. As the terrible response to COVID proved, the gov was wrong/deliberately lying to the people about many things. FJB China $3M

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson comments that First Amendment “hamstrings" government. What a terrible thing for a Justice to say. She would happily remove our First Amendment of the Bill of Rights.

Have you just about ever saw good come out of government getting involved!! The framers gave the government 2 jobs!! Secure our border (failed), maintain our military (failed)! The Federal government had less than 1,000 employees except for the military, prior to the Civil War!! What happened!!
