Most of my neighbors are short-term. I love it. They are all professionals mostly healthcare. Zero kids, zero riff raff. I was happy after they were able to evict all the bums earlier.

Regulation leads to shortages (then a rise in prices), quality of homes and neighborhoods goes down (more crime, etc.) Regulation is almost always a bad idea! The only regulation that should be put forth should be how much the government can interfere with a free society!

A lack of regulation will lead to shortages in housing inventory. Honestly these short-term rentals should probably be regulated into extinction. Make housing affordable again! - Rob Rasmussen
