Heck no. Students need an actual snow day so they can go outside and shovel the snow off their sidewalks to avoid $500 per day fines from the City. The sidewalk must remain clear of snow and ice, even if it is still snowing and the streets are not even plowed. Don't you read your own reporting KMIZ?

Harry, I am just shocked, that you question the "Rules and Regulations" that our city leaders have blessed us with. Shocked, I say. Furthermore, they leave that snow and ice on the road, to protect our tires, from the potholes.

Some students do not have access to computer or high speed internet at home.

Because snow days are already worked into the school schedule and its something the kids look forward to. No school, no waking up early, and playing in the snow.
