Duh. Computerized voting MIGHT work if it were done with server configurations and software that was 100% auditable by ANYONE, but why? People have shown a fantastic ability to get together and count votes by hand, plus there is then an easy ability to recount the vote.

Ever since this new technology has been introduced to the US election process a number of anomalies have turned up in and also many allegations of voting fraud and electioneering too. Compared to paper, E-voting is too easy to hack and manipulate results.

It's not an insurmountable task to secure the integrity of these voting machines, technically. The hardest nut to crack will always be eradicating the dirty corporate influence that pervades these systems.
