I don't even walk my dogs in this heat. The concrete is about 15 degrees hotter than the air and it is very bad for their paws. This heat is NOT normal"
Commented "But not based on the current assessments. The Dpt. of Forestry used 3 yr-old maps to determine risk assessments, and they are NOT accurate. I zeroed in on my home in NWX, where they said we were in high risk, and the map didn't even show the house next door to me which has been there for 3 years."

Commented "I'll just stay inside my air-conditioned house or in my air-conditioned car to get to an air-conditioned store. I won't walk my dogs in this heat either, as the concrete temp will exceed whatever the air temp is by about 15 degrees and is bad for their paws/"
